Used Royd HiFi & Home Cinema For Sale

Royd Audio was founded in 1985 by brothers Colin and Robert Youd in Lancashire, with their speakers hand-built in England to exacting standards. The company earned particular acclaim for models like the Apex and Minstrel, which reviewers consistently praised for their remarkably natural midrange and timing abilities that belied their modest size. Enthusiasts often noted how Royds could make music sound engaging and alive in ways that larger, more expensive speakers sometimes failed to achieve. Unfortunately, Royd products appear quite rarely on the second-hand market these days, partly because the company ceased trading in 2008 and partly because owners tend to hang onto them, making any examples that do surface particularly sought after by those in the know.
