The replacement Rega Hinge Set to fit Rega turntables is an original supplied part from Rega. The hinge set includes two upper hinges to fit the turntable lid, plus two lower hinge sections to fit the turntable plinth. Rivets are supplied with the hinge set, however we suspect that you may not possess a rivet gun…
With effect of February 2026 we are now able to supply a fixing kit that includes 4 x barrel caps and bolts, 4 x washers, plus a suitably sized allen key. The optional fixing kit adds a further £4.49 to the cost of the Rega hinge set, taking the total cost to £14.99. Please be aware that the supplied rivets will not be needed if you purchase the Rega hinge set fixing kit.
The four rivets holding your Rega turntable lid to the broken hinge set will need to be carefully removed with the use of a 5mm drill bit. We recommend using the same drill bit to slowly and gently widen the four holes on your acrylic turntable lid, to accommodate the new barrel cap and bolt fixing kit.
