The Rotel RA1572 Amplifier melds classic analogue design with the contemporary digital circuits found in more modern units in order to bring all of your favourite sources to life, delivering a quality of sound that would usually seem unprecedented. All of the circuits within the Rotel RA1572 draw their power from a power supply that has been based on an oversized, precision-manufactured toroidal power transformer, custom-designed by Rotel. Providing voltage and current in abundance throughout all operating stages, the transformers toroidal shape works to prevent stray radiation patterns from corrupting audio signals from passing through the adjacent circuit stages. As a result of this, power supply segments that are built with tight-tolerance parts, including T-Network capacitors, provide the same voltage and current requirements, thus ensuring signal reproduction that will always remain stress-free.
The RA1572 Amplifier's input section boasts more flexibility that could be found in most conventional integrated amplifiers, boasting a built-in state-of-the-art 32-bit/768kHz AKM digital-to-analogue converter, along with analogue stages of the highest quality. This DAC will support a wide range of source inputs, including DSD capable PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz). The front panel includes a USB input, enabling easy connection to various music and audio storage devices such as iPods, iPhones and iPads, as well as other tablets, smartphones and portable music players.
With Bluetooth built in, the Rotel RA1572 Amplifier supports aptX, delivering superior performance with compatible devices. Additionally, two coaxial (RCA) and optical (TOSlink) inputs will provide easy connection to LPCM music sources such as popular streaming devices with up to 24-bit word lengths sampled at 192 kHz. This amplifier makes it possible to fix the level and set an auto-on option with digital inputs for use with devices that provide their own volume control. This allows for convenient hands-off usage. The analogue inputs features include a pair of balanced XLR connectors, along with conventional RCA jacks.
The RA1572 comes with a Class AB output stage will use discreet devices to ensure reproduction of all signals is precise regardless of origin with almost any loudspeaker. The power output, rated at 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms, will remain substantial due to the fact that it is a continuous 'both-channels-driven-simultaneously' rating that remains in-keeping with real-world requirements.
The unit itself features user conveniences such as two 12-volt triggers that allow you to control on/off operation of connected components, a highly visible VFD display for set-up, software updates that are available via the internet, rs232 and IP control capabilities, and a free iOS remote app for you mobile devices and tablets.
