The NaimUniti is their first ever all-in-one audio player. It combines a ten-input, 50-Watt-perchannel integrated amplifier based on the award wining Naim NAIT 5i, a CD player based on the similarly acclaimed Naim CD5i, and a digital-to-analogue converter with an output filter derived from that developed for the stunning Naim CD5x. To all that, NaimUniti adds a high quality DAB/FM tuner, the ability to play streamed audio files wirelessly from UPnP™ servers or internet radio stations, and separate interface inputs for USB memory sticks carrying audio files, iPods and mp3 players. NaimUniti can now be fully and remotely controlled via the n-Stream iPhone app, the same app that can be used to control UnitiQute. The app is available at the iTunes app store. Also like UnitiQute, NaimUniti has been given Apple authentication enabling front panel USB connection and access to iPod-stored digital media files; bypassing the iPod internal DAC and enabling a digital output for optimised performance. iPod devices can now be connected to NaimUniti via its front-panel USB port using a standard Apple USB connector cable.
