We are offering for sale a Ruark Audio R3S previously owned wireless music system. The Ruark R3S was purchased by a local customer in January 2024 and has been well cared for, and is supplied with the original packaging. The product is in excellent unmarked condition and good working condition. The reason for the sale is that the current owner has decided to upgrade to a separates system. A copy of the original bill of receipt will be provided (minus the customer’s personal information).

The Ruark Audio R3S Wireless Music System retains the same beautiful compact design with its acoustically tuned handcrafted cabinet and high contrast O-LED display, but inwardly the R3S features a powerful new processor and revised circuitry to deliver slicker performance and an even more engaging sound.

Driving the system is a dynamic High Fidelity amplifier combined with Ruark’s custom NS+ drivers and for the R3S Ruark Audio now included STEREO+ sound processing which the design team developed for their limited edition R5 Signature. This creates a broader soundstage with depth and realism that extends way beyond the Ruark Audio R3S’s compact stature. Whatever your taste in music, the R3S will fulfil the needs of even the most discerning listener.

The Ruark Audio R3S directly supports key streaming services including Spotify Connect*, Amazon Music and Deezer, and with its latest generation Bluetooth 5 receiver every other streaming service available. Bluetooth 5 connectivity provides excellent sound quality with a more robust and efficient connection, meaning that connected audio devices will run longer without needing a recharge. The Bluetooth function also seamlessly integrates with the volume control on phones and tablets, so when volume is adjusted this also shows on the display of the R3S.

Radio is evolving and with its SmartRadio tuner the Ruark Audio R3S will maximise your enjoyment of this timeless medium. DAB/DAB+ and FM tuners provide access to local and national broadcasts and its Internet Tuner allows you access high quality streams and stations world-wide. In addition with the growth of Podcasts, the R3S now has a source dedicated to this increasingly popular format. For listen again shows and whatever your interest, a podcast to suit your taste is only a few clicks away using our slick RotoDial controller or supplied IR remote. Also available is a free Android and iOS control app called Oktiv. This also allows full control of the R3S and is particularly useful for searching Internet radio stations and podcasts.

CD is still a great way to enjoy music and with its high specification player, the Ruark Audio R3S allows you to reconnect with your CD’s and rediscover the fun of browsing cover art and liner notes. Alongside standard CD’s, the R3S also plays homemade CD’s that are encoded with WAV and MP3 audio files and will display track and artist data if this information is available on the disc.

On the rear panel Ruark Audio have included a USB-C playback and charge port, a headphone output and switchable analogue and digital inputs so devices such as a Turntable or TV can be easily connected. For film buffs and lovers of bass orientated music, the line outputs can be switched so they can be used for connection to an active subwoofer. The Ruark Audio RS1 subwoofer is a perfect match for the R3S, adding an extra level of dynamic realism to its already impressive sound.
