The speakers create a deceptively big surround sound feeling even when paired with basic home theatre systems and is a compact little system.
The speaker system features seamless transitions from front to back and side-to-side. With 300 watts of power, the SB-1000 subwoofer can reach rumbling lows without drowning out the sound of the Prime satellites.
Housed in an ABS-fiberglass composite cabinet, the speaker system uses a vented voice coil, aluminum dome tweeter and woofer. While the aluminum dome tweeter with FEA-optimized diffuser delivers highs and open 'airy' sound dispersion, the woofer produces powerful and punchy bass response yet doesn't go over the top. To eliminate distortion and resonance, the woofer uses an aluminum shorting ring and polypropylene cone. To ensure convenient mounting, the Prime satellite comes with an integrated Keyhole Bracket.
The SVS SB-1000 subwoofer is a little powerhouse, measuring only 13" on all sides - making it the first micro subwoofer boasting world-renowned SVS performance!
